I have a big problem with stress, panic attacks, and anxiety. What works best for me is to concentrate on letting all the muscles in my body go slack, especially in the face, hands, and shoulders. Exhaling slowly is very effective, and rigorous exercise.

Take the phone off the hook, take a nice hot bubble bath, read a pleasant book………for myself, I like to take a walk……smell the fresh air and think of nothing but good thoughts.

Take a warm shower and then gradually turn the knob to cold.
Make very tight fists with both hands and then release and exhale sharply.
Do pushups and imagine pushing against the problem causing the stress. Do the pushups until you are tired!
nice hot bubble bath with candles lit all around and have some jazz music or what ever music you like that relaxs you and just lay back in the tub and relax. its best to do it at night so you can be in the dark with the candles. works for me all the time.
